Bullying

This workshop will help parents identify and understand bullying behaviors, the warning signs
and the consequences. We will also discuss what parents can do to help their child and prevent
bullying.

April 20th
Love Languages
Claire Horner
What speaks volumes to you may be meaningless to your spouse. But this workshop is the key
to understanding each other’s unique needs. Apply the right principles, learn the right
language, and soon you’ll know the profound satisfaction and joy of being able to express your
love – and feeling truly loved in return.

April 27th
Communication
Andee Gay
The Communication Workshop will cover the styles, types, & goals of effective communication.
We’ll discuss how to get to true intimacy. There will also be some how to’s, potential pitfalls,
dos & don’ts, as well as helpful hints.

May 4th
Addiction
Joe Whitwell
This workshop includes a description of the dynamics involved when individuals seek to escape
pain and despair through various forms of self-medication. Emphasis is on the psychological
and spiritual adjustments necessary for the recovery of the individual, and for the healing of
those who relate intimately with an addicted person. We will discuss the signs and symptoms
of alcohol and drug abuse as well as issues of intervention and treatment for the abuser and
affected family members.

Sexting, Texting & Facebook

technology plays in the life of our children including advantages, disadvantages, privacy and
pitfalls. Parents will leave this workshop more informed and empowered then ever before!
